These projects show the range of Janet's Junction work: fundraising that sustains daily support, fast volunteer mobilisation and care packs that restore dignity.

Heart and Hearth

This year, we created beautifully curated Heart and Hearth gift boxes filled with warmth, comfort and hand-crafted goodness. Each box includes a thoughtful selection of artisanal items, from vanilla-scented candles and ceramic angel ornaments to small-batch fig liqueur, chocolate-dipped candied orange slices and eco fire starters in our large box.

Why?

Each box gives back. A portion of the proceeds helps support Janet's Junction, which serves 100 - 200 meals twice a week and provides daily homework support to up to 18 children who desperately need educational help.

What's inside?

Every piece has been carefully chosen to delight the senses and bring a touch of luxury and light into any home.

Mandela Day Sandwich Drive

In the spirit of service inspired by Nelson Mandela, Janet's Junction proudly hosted our Mandela Day Sandwich Drive 2025, bringing the community together to make a tangible difference in just 67 minutes. Volunteers, families and local partners joined hands to prepare and distribute freshly made sandwiches to vulnerable individuals and families in need. The initiative was a powerful reminder that small acts of kindness, when done together, can create meaningful impact and strengthen the bonds within our community.

Christmas Care Boxes | 2025

Christmas Care Boxes

During the festive season, Janet's Junction launched our Christmas Care Packs initiative to support individuals facing financial hardship. Alongside preparing and distributing sandwiches on the 16th and 23rd of December, we aimed to bless 50 adults with thoughtfully prepared care packs filled with essential toiletries and festive treats.

Community impact

Through donated funds and the generosity of our community, we distributed these packs to individuals in Phoenix and Joe Slovo. Each care pack represented more than practical support - it carried a message of dignity, care and hope during the Christmas season.
