What began as small acts of kindness has grown into a nonprofit organisation dedicated to nourishment, education, and restoring dignity.

A meeting point of help and hope
Janet's Junction was born in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, when neighbours came together to support families facing hunger and uncertainty in Phoenix, Joe Slovo Park, and greater Milnerton.
Today the hub provides warm meals, food support, homework support, digital access, mentoring and practical community care for vulnerable children, families, elderly neighbours and people experiencing homelessness.
The work is named in honour of Janet, whose compassion and quiet strength shaped its foundation. Janet's Junction stands as a meeting point of hope, care and community.
Every donation, partnership and volunteer hour helps turn care into consistent action, from plates of food to laptops, tutors and learning opportunities.
What your support makes possible
Food, education, and hope in one place.
Janet's Junction focuses on practical support that meets people where they are: meals for immediate relief, learning support for long-term opportunity, and community participation that restores dignity.
